At Kirk NBH, every evaluation is tailored to meet the individual needs of the student and to identify his/her strengths and weaknesses so that we may prescribe effective educational and therapeutic interventions and treatment plans. These treatment plans can help to obtain formal educational accommodations/modifications or special education services at school, identify and coordinate private services within the community, engage specific therapeutic services (i.e., counseling, speech/language therapy, occupational therapy), and/or facilitate referrals for medication.

We realize that you have a lot of options when it comes to finding help for your student. We frequently see children who have been misdiagnosed and have participated in ineffective treatments. Therefore, we feel it is important to have a comprehensive evaluation conducted by a fellowship-trained clinical neuropsychologist. Our doctors are experienced, licensed psychologists with additional training in developmental psychology, brain development, and medical complications that affect brain functioning. All of our neuropsychologists work with children, adolescents, and young adults with dyslexia, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, traumatic brain injury, concussions, epilepsy, twice exceptional, and various other neurodevelopmental conditions.
